Job Information

Responsible to watch all running parameters on desk with attention for safe and smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for constantly review all parameters of Boiler operation and safety parameters.

2. Responsible to check field activity, running drive and all parameters of boiler.

3. Responsible to show all activities on desk and if any abnormality found in that case immediate inform to shift in-charge, turbine operators, field operators for prompt actions.

4. Maintain proper communication with DCS Boiler operator and turbine operator staff during operation.

5. Responsible to intimate and get clearance from filed operator, Electrical, Mechanical if drive stopped or restart.

6. Provide proper equipment changeover to maintenance team as per PM schedule with proper communication (Safety point of view).

Title Safety Officer (EHSF)

Job Information

Responsible to carry out inspections at workplaces and take necessary action to ensure safety and compliance at SBPL site.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Safe working Conditions:

a) Ensure safe working condition in the workplace and report unsafe conditions to the concerned authority.
b) Plan and implement OHS policies and programs, ensure compliance of SOPs for Permit system (Hot-Work, working at Height, confined space entry, Excavation, Cold work Etc.)
c) Identify process bottlenecks by periodic checking and testing the same on weekly basis.
d) Investigating accidents or injuries that occur in the workplace
e) Monitor the usages of personal protective equipment by the employees in the premises.
f) Conduct the safety sampling and risk assessment department wise & monitors the unsafe conditions in a particular department & highlighted the same to the concern persons.
g) Assists in the establishment of workplace safety and health committees to reduce the risk of accident, Record all MOM and IMS audit point of view.
h) Ensure implementation of Action Points within the set time frame
i) Monitor the first aid box in the premises for proper availability of medicines.
j) Conduct periodic mock-drills, prepare reports and implement action points
k) Prepare and maintain documents as well as records
l) Monitor operation and maintenance of Effluent treatment plant and effluent quality.

2) Statutory Compliances:

a) Ensure compliance of Factory Acts requirements, such as Pressure Vessel testing reports, Mock-drills report, On-Site-Emergency Plan etc.
b) Investigate incidents and Dangerous Occurrence (DO) and implement corrective and preventive measures and maintain records.
c) DISH visit compliance
d) Maintain compliance of license conditions of Factory License, HSD License, Cl2 storage license, Form 10,11, Boiler license

3) Safety Promotion:

a) Celebrate the Safety week, by organizing various safety related competitions for the employees.
b) Organize Table-Top exercise on various scenario and monitor the coordination between the teams as per their role identified in the site emergency plan
c) Organize functions like tree plantation, competition on the occasion of world environment day as well as celebration of Fire service day.

4) Training:

a) Impart training on Safety to new recruits, employees, contractors, contract employees.
b) Organize training programs during Safety Week (Training Program, Screening Films, role play)
c) Periodically evaluate Training Effectiveness and Maintain updated records for all the Training activities.

Responsible for instrumentation maintenance of Chemical plant

Key Responsibilities :

• Follow the instructions of engineer for Installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling and testing a wide variety of industrial instrumentation such as control valves, transmitters, radars, levels, Controlling & regulating level, flow, pressure & temperature meters, laboratory equipment as per standards.
• Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, chemical, electrical and electronic process controls and measurement instrumentation to approved procedures.
